Employed since 1999 by Cotton, Bledsoe, Tighe & Dawson, P.C., Claudia is Paralegal for Rick D. Davis, Jr. and Bradley H. Bains, who practice insurance defense, oil and gas litigation, environmental litigation, commercial litigation and governmental entity defense. Claudia was certified by the National Association of Legal Secretaries as a Certified Professional Legal Secretary (CPLS) in 1988, certified by National Association of Legal Assistants as a Certified Legal Assistant (CLA) in 1991 and received her Associates Degree in Applied Science - Legal Assistant from Midland College in 1996. She is a member of PBLSA, LAAPB, and LAD. She has been employed in the legal business since 1970 when she started out her career working with attorneys as a Deputy County Clerk in Belton, Bell County, Texas.

Claudia has been married to Dean Brown for 36 years. They have two children, a son, Bradley Dean Brown, who is a Coach/Athletic Trainer for Coronado High School in Lubbock where he lives with his wife, Heather, and THE GRANDSON, Jolton; and a daughter, Christie A. Brown, who graduated from Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas, with her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a minor in biology, and is currently working on her Masters Degree in Biology. Claudia is a Howard County Master Gardner Volunteer, a Room Granny for Overton Elementary 4th Grade in Lubbock, and loves to play with her Grandson, work in her yard and remodel her house. She loves to sing and is the Music Director at First Baptist Church, Garden City, Texas.
