Darla has been employed by Lynch Chappell & Alsup, PC since 1995 and was with a sole practitioner prior to that. Darla served as president of LAA/PB in 1991 and 1992. In 1989 she was admitted to the Legal Assistant Division of the State Bar of Texas, currently the Paralegal Division of the State Bar of Texas. She is also a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas. Darla has been married to Jerry Fisher for 35 years, has 2 children, Michael & Charlsa, a grandson Trenton and a new granddaughter, Makenna Marie
