Lydia recently joined the new firm of Matticks & Eastham, L.L.P. Prior to moving to Matticks & Eastham, she was a paralegal with Cotton, Bledsoe, Tighe & Dawson, P.C., after three years with the Stubbeman, McRae, Sealy, Laughlin & Browder firm. Prior to joining the Stubbeman firm, Lydia was with ARCO Permian, a Unit of Atlantic Richfield Company, for 15 years, working as a paralegal for the Legal Department, as well as Executive Assistant for Chief Counsel and the Vice President for Land and External Affairs. Lydia is a member of the Legal Advisory Committee at Midland College and has taught the CLA Review Course for the Midland College Legal Assistants program. Lydia received her CLA designation in 1997.

Lydia is married to Tom, Drilling Superintendent for ExxonMobil, and has two sons, Brad (age 29), Captain, serving with the U.S. Army's 4th Infantry Division stationed at Fort Hood, Texas; and Jim (age 27), Captain serving with the U.S. Army as a Signal Corps Officer currently stationed at Fort Sill, Oklahoma
